Senior Data Manager Job Summary:

The Senior DM performs the Lead DM role across multiple studies and clients, manages DM study teams and delivers high quality clinical data according to MAC processes, ICH-GCP, the project budget and timelines to achieve high client satisfaction.

The Senior DM plays a lead role in the MAC DM group, both for studies and departmental initiatives.

Performs or oversees:

  • Advanced project oversight, planning and delivery, working with Clinical, Statistics and Programming teams.

  • Development and management of all DM documentation.

  • Management all DM aspects of clinical trials from, eCRF design and build, study conduct, user training, to database lock and delivery of high quality data.

  • Working collaboratively, creating excellent working relations with clients, external vendors and internal MAC groups, such as, Statistics and programming, Project Management and Clinical staff.

Successful applicants must have:

  • 3+ years of prior Lead Data Manager experience within the CRO/Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven experience of delivering successful outcomes across client, vendor and internal teams

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision

  • A good knowledge of ICH-GCP related to Data Management

  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills used to successfully coordinate and manage project teams to positive deliveries.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Good experience of protocol interpretation and CRF development.

  • Able to meet deadlines and escalate where appropriate

  • A well-developed understanding and experience of eCRF data capture systems (desired)

  • Highly numerate with developed computer skills and logical, structured approach to assigned activities
