PROPOSALS & FEASIBILITY MANAGER

MAC Clinical Research manages clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry and an exciting range of career opportunities exists in our expanding Clinical Development Organisation.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Proposals & Feasibility Manager to join our dedicated team. This role can be based at any of our MAC clinics with the potential for home working for the right candidate.
Focus of the job is to provide Early and Late Phase proposals and company’s feasibility strategy to support the needs of the business.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analysing, coordinating and development of proposals acting as the key interface between Business Development and Operations
Liaising with internal departments as needed for operational input into proposals.
Work with external vendors to scope and cost the service
Working with the Associate VP of Global Proposals to coordinate the cost negotiations
Developing and coordinating responses to the client on proposal queries and requests for cost revision
Manage the hand over process to Project Management and Operations
Prepare Change Orders to reflect the change in study scope
Coordinate and collate feasibility responses from Operations and prepare feasibility surveys/questionnaires as required
Maintain the internal systems with all new feasibility and proposal opportunities
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Preferable MSc or PhD in Life Sciences / Health sector
Previous experience of working in a CRO or at least 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry or biotech company
Experience in preparing budgets and proposals
Proficient in MS Excel & MS Word
In-depth knowledge of all the services to support early & late stage clinical trials
Ability to manage own workload and meet pressing deadlines
Critical thinking, communication and problem-solving skills
