QUALITY CONTROL COORDINATOR

MAC Clinical Research manages clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry and we are seeking to appoint a Quality Control Coordinator to join our team and make a positive impact in a world-leading Contract Research Organisation. This role is for a 12 months fixed term contract (with potential to be made permanent if business needs allow).
We are happy to be flexible with regards to location in the UK, so any of our clinical site locations may be considered with the option of home working.
This role would suit candidates with a background or keen interest Quality Control.
The focus of this role is to implement quality control techniques and activities to help to ensure that data is easily interpreted, traceable and trustworthy.
Conduct QC inspections to ensure that procedures are carried out carefully and accurately to eliminates errors.
Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
Assist in harmonization of processes across all MAC sites.
Review and check quality of documents.
Maintain consent checking process.
Liaise with QA to ensure effective root cause analysis and CAPA of all quality issues arising related to QC department.
Work with colleagues to ensure corrections are completed promptly.
Develop ideas for improving systems within the company.
Maintenance of complete and accurate QC documentation.
Support all Quality Control activities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrates a sound knowledge of ICH GCP.
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
Experience of document Quality Control checking.
