INSIDE BUSINESS SCIENTIST

MAC Clinical Research manages clinical trials for the pharmaceutical industry and we are seeking to appoint an Inside Business Scientist to join our team and make a positive impact in a world-leading Clinical Research Organisation.
We are happy to be flexible with regards to location in the UK, so any of our clinical site locations may be considered with the option of home working.
This role would suit candidate with background or keen interest in a science related field and/or sales.
The focus of this role is to support MAC’s Senior Scientific and Business Development teams across varied business situations relating to new clinical research studies from Phase I-IV, including promoting MAC to global Sponsor companies across core business areas.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
BSc in Science/Bio-Science field
Mature outlook, strong work ethic and eagerness to develop
Overall knowledge of MAC as a business
Have strong inter-personal skills including taking responsibility developing new business relationships spanning MAC’s business lines
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Senior team members across workflows and sponsor discussions and meetings.
Research Sponsor accounts, key contacts and pipelines, identifying key influencers and decision makers and new business opportunities, generating interest around MAC’s capabilities across therapy/disease areas.
Understand customer needs and requirements and identify new target companies.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the MAC offering, our customers and industry trends.
Collaborate with MAC internal teams to determine the best solution fit to your client’s needs.
(Co-) write and present customer focused proposals that result in winning new business and developing Sponsor relationships.
Develop long-term business relationships with key executives and decision makers across biopharmaceutical sponsors.
