We’re looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Research Physician to join our dedicated, hardworking team at our Early Phase Unit in Manchester working in early phase drug development/clinical pharmacology.
You’ll need to have 2-3 years of Early Phase clinical trial experience or experience as a Principal Investigator in clinical trials.
The focus of this role is to fulfil the role of Sub-Investigator and Principal Investigator in clinical research studies in compliance with the protocol and ICH/GCP.
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Full and current GMC registration (essential)
4 years post-graduation experience (desirable)
MRCP /MRCGP (desirable)
2 years pharmaceutical experience -and working consistently to a high level (essential)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clinical Activities including:
Fulfil the role of Sub Investigator / Principal Investigator where delegated.
Provision of medical care and oversight of clinical trial participants.
Ensure trial related procedures are completed in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines and in compliance with the protocol.
physical examinations and other clinical procedures
Review medical reports and lab results
Participate in site monitoring visits with Clinical Research Associates
On-call rota duties as required

Dealing with bodily fluids.
Long periods looking at a computer screen.
