We are seeking to appoint an Associate Project Director to join our Project Management team and positively impact our progressive CRO company.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support the growth and development of the Project Management department and as a communication lead to all internal and external stakeholders, you will have a vital role in with both internal and external stakeholder relationships.

This is a remote based role with travel to MAC / Client sites as required.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of the delivery of projects with an emphasis on the quality and compliance, risk management, client relationships, and profitability.

  • Independent successful leadership of larger, business critical and more complex projects and programs.

  • Translation of increased scope opportunities to contracted revenue.

  • Provide input into the project strategy & vision through expertise in project management, ensuring alignment of the operational deliverables to the agreed strategy.

  • May act as the client relationship manager for an assigned sponsor, building strong relationships with clients and acting as an effective escalation point.

  • Provision of mentoring, coaching and direction to junior project managers.

  • Act as a positive role model across MAC, supporting an effective and efficient team environment; adopting an innovative approach to problem solving within the Project Management department and across the business.

  • Use business knowledge to drive cross functional and cross-project learning.

  • Positively support business development activities.

  • Contribute to the development of department process and training; Lead and deliver assigned process improvement and training projects.

Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

  • 10 years industry experience including at least 3 years in full-service Senior Project Management roles in clinical trials within a CRO, pharmaceutical or biotech setting.

  • Degree or similar related life science qualification or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • In depth and demonstratable understanding and experience of the drug development. process, associated regulatory and ICH GCP guidelines and their application to clinical trials.

  • Detailed and proactive approach to risk and issue management.

  • Superior time management skills for working within a fast-paced environment.

  • Evidence of commercial and organizational acumen.

  • Advanced interpersonal skills with high level of flexibility and able to adapt to changing situations.

  • High focus on quality with exemplary attention to detail.
