MAC Clinical Research are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Trials Assistant to join our busy Early Phase Unit team in Manchester.
You’ll have a BSc in a scientific field and a real interest in clinical research. The team need someone with a “can-do” attitude, an ability to communicate on all levels and pay attention to detail.
You’ll be joining a fast-growing CRO that can offer excellent opportunities to the right candidate.
The Focus of the Role
To carry out clinical trial procedures and prioritise patient safety in adherence with ICH-GCP
Responsibilities Include
Clinical activities ensuring a safe environment for colleagues and patients
Attendance of study related meetings
Patient and customer care
Laboratory activities that will include specimen handling
Pharmaceutical duties
Data management
Patient recruitment assistance, monitoring and promotion
Physical, Work Environment and Travel Demands
Potentially long periods standing.
Dealing with bodily fluids.
Long periods looking at a computer screen.
Meeting deadlines and working within strict timelines.
Ability to travel between sites if required.
Ability to travel to national/international meetings.
