We are seeking to appoint a Dementia & Neuroscience Clinical Specialist to make a positive impact in a growing and progressive CRO. You will be joining a company that put the needs and wellbeing of their people first, who are inclusive and who deliver exceptional service – together.
The focus of the role is to assist with the development and delivery of the memory assessment research clinic service across all MAC sites.
It is essential that you’re registered with the NMC or other registered body and compliant with revalidation requirements.
FOCUS OF THE JOB:
To assist with the delivery of contracted NHS memory clinic services.
To be involved in the provision of staff training, mentoring and support to assure the delivery of professional and highly specialised assessments to clinical trial participants.
To provide subject matter expertise in dementia to the Clinical Science group and contribute to the success of a wide range of neuroscience projects
To perform complex psychometric, neuropsychological and psychiatric rating scales and assessments as per trial protocol where required.
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
MSc (essential) PhD (preferred)
10 years minimum experience of effective clinical practice in a specialist dementia care setting (essential)
Familiarity with the clinical research (desirable)
Registered with the NMC or other registered body and compliant with revalidation requirements (essential)
Competitive salary in keeping with pharmaceutical industry standards and will reflect experience
25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing in increments to 30 days after 6 years long service)
