HEAD OF OPERATIONS (QC AND SYSTEMS)

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Operations (QC and Systems) to join our team and make a positive impact in a growing and progressive CRO. You will be joining a company that put the needs and wellbeing of their people first, who are inclusive and who deliver exceptional service – together.
This role is full time and based in the North West preferably with some flexible home-based working and some business-related travel to our other clinical sites as required.
You will be providing leadership to the clinical and PM operational teams and supporting other key aspects of the business
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To execute and/or implement quality control techniques and activities to ensure that data is easily interpreted, traceable and trustworthy.
To implement and develop systems within MAC’s bespoke operating system to support operational teams and processes.
To work with operational teams to instigate process improvements.
To collaborate with Leadership and Management Teams to formulate Quality Control strategies and process improvements.
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Life Sciences degree or equivalent
Extensive experience working in a regulated environment
Demonstrates a sound knowledge of ICH GCP
Proficient in the creation, modification and maintenance of spread sheets
Experience of systems administration
Proven experience in managing a team
Demonstrate problem solving, analytical, organisation, and time management skills
