LABORATORY SERVICES QUALITY MANAGER

As part of MAC’s continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit a Laboratory Services Quality Manager.
This role is onsite and based in Greater Manchester
The focus of this role
Oversee the Quality System within Laboratory Services at MAC Clinical Research in Manchester.
Provide guidance for Laboratory staff and Management on Quality issues.
Act as a bridge between the Quality Assurance and Laboratory Services functions.
Support Laboratory Service activities to achieve and maintain compliance/accreditation to applicable regulatory standards.
Document control (SOP, form management etc) within lab services.
Essential
Minimum Degree in Science Subject or equivalent
Significant experience working within a quality department (within Analytical or Healthcare environment preferred)
Experience in oversight and maintenance of a QMS
In depth knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and applicable regulations
Substantial experience in the creation and management of SOP’s.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory guidelines and requirements
Knowledge and experience of conducting CAPA
Considerable prior experience working under GLP
Desirable
Experience of ISO 15189 would be an advantage
