PHARMACY PRODUCTION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN

We are seeking to appoint a Pharmacy Production Systems Technician to join our dedicated team in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in preventable maintenance, validation, equipment calibration, equipment management and maintenance. You’ll need to show that you have strong organisational and systems management skills.
FOCUS OF THE JOB
Assist with managing the Facility Management System and associated hardware.
Assist with the management of production equipment.
Assist with the management of the Quality Management System and the associated Technical Documentation.
KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Experience in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environments.
Experience or knowledge of equipment and system or process management and validation.
Experience of writing Technical Documents
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Working with the Pharmacy Production Manager ensuring the production equipment, systems and technical documentation are GMP compliant
Ensure that scheduled equipment calibration, qualification and validation tasks are completed on time and to procedure
Medicinal product storage
Preparing and checking doses (sterile/non-sterile)
Assisting with production documentation; un-blinded and blinded dispensing/assembly or manufacture of medication/IMP/nIMP and supply/resupply
Equipment maintenance, validation and reporting/correcting in the event of adverse reports
Always remain professional and courteous with patients creating a pleasant and safe environment
Self-development
Participate and contribute to meetings with colleagues, GMP and clients
Work according to MAC SOPs, guidelines, and policies
To work to the requirements of clinical trials regulation, which includes Good Clinical Practice and Good Manufacturing Practice.
