RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATOR

Our hardworking and friendly team in Cannock, South Staffordshire are looking to recruit a Receptionist/Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to enable the smooth running of the team’s activities.


The ideal candidate will be used to a very busy environment, you’ll need to be proactive, have a “can do” attitude, with an ability to think ahead and prioritise your work. We’re inviting applications from candidates that have at least 3 years' experience working in a GP surgery in a similar role.


KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 3 years administrative experience (essential)

  • Experience within healthcare setting (essential)

  • Handling, retrieving and storing medical records (desirable)

  • Confident with patient/document management systems (essential)

  • Reliable, hardworking and confident supporting and working with a team (essential)

  • Be familiar with Data Protection and GDPR


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Arranging study subject appointments

  • Reporting project statistics

  • Incoming and outgoing call handling

  • Set up, retrieval and storage of sensitive documents and data

  • Understand and apply protocol criteria

  • Maintain and record high quality data

  • Typing of company letters and emails


PHYSICAL, WORK ENVIRONMENT, TRAVEL DEMANDS:

  • Position is office based, use of computers (office software suite and web based applications).
